Practice: SCUBA - FREEDIVING - SHARK FREEDIVING
“The only way to not fear them is to get to know them close up!”. Roberta is a SEAC Ambassador who feeds hammerhead sharks and tiger sharks (shark-feeding). She says: "We will not stop exploring, and at the end of it all, we will return to the starting point to get to know it as if for the first time." Roberta Larosa, leaving Rosarno, packed her dreams, hopes and endless passion for the sea inside her suitcase. She has travelled all over the world to end up in the Bahamas, where she discovered a fantastic world: the world of sharks. A marine biologist, environmentalist by life philosophy, she developed an unconditional love of sharks, through scuba diving, which would then lead her to becoming one of the first women in the world to feed hammerhead sharks. The length of hammerhead sharks and tiger sharks can exceed 4 metres and they are a protected species for the State of the Bahamas. In short, no small feat for a Calabrian girl who has never accepted compromises in order to build her future on the pillars of her passion: the sea and nature.
